The Victa Home Workout Routine is Redefining Fitness

The Victa Home Workout Routine is Redefining Fitness

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) April 24, 2012

According to a recent article published by Livestrong.com “Gymnasts are often considered to be extraordinary athletes. Their sport requires perfect timing, intense focus and power that can only come from having a lean, muscular body. Compared to swimming or long-distance running, gymnastics is considered to be a … sport which requires short, intense bursts of power rather than endurance.” The unique strength training associated with gymnastics has great fitness benefits for both young and old.

The professionals of Home Workout Pros have implemented a brand new, full body, high intensity workout regimen that targets aerobic training, strength building and balance. The short duration of each workout leaves all who participate in a pool of sweat, muscles engaged while breathing heavily. Josiah Grimes, who is a 14-year veteran to competitive Men’s gymnastics, developed the exercise plan. Grimes years of coaching and personal investment into building optimal strength and flexibility have shaped the vision of the Victa in home workout regiment.

The benefit of this program is that there is no specialized equipment needed. This a great strength training program for those just beginning to invest in personal fitness as well as those who are seeking to build on current elite levels of personal fitness. The nature of the workout is tailored to suit individual performance level needs.

The Home Workout Pros team is providing a reduced price lifetime membership for access to these exercise routines. The introductory offer for just will be available at their website (below) for a limited time. The goal of the Victa workout program is to make fitness affordable and readily available to everyone. The convenience of the stay at home mom who finally gets the toddler to sleep and wants to do a quick, high intensity workout with no loud music can check out the routine of the day online and get the job done. The traveling business man who needs a quick workout to release the stress of the day can access the program from his hotel room and be done with a full body, high intensity workout in less time than it would take him to head down to the hotel gym and wait his turn on the weight machines, stationary bikes or treadmills.

The elite athlete who retires from a sport and misses the regular workout routine can access the advanced Victa program and be challenged each day without the need for any equipment. This helps maintain healthy fitness levels without the stress of a having to invest a large amount of money and time into a whole new sport. This also helps the fitness guru stay in shape in preparation for the next outdoor adventure. Whether it be hiking the Grand Canyon, kayaking the Colorado river or cycling along the Pacific coast, the Victa Program works to keeps the body in top condition for whatever opportunity comes along.

Face 4 Humanity Beauty Brand Chooses FiberStone

Face 4 Humanity Beauty Brand Chooses FiberStone® Tree-Free “Paper” for Eco-Friendly Gift Bag

Face 4 humanity chose FiberStone® tree-free paper for their small gift bag, and topped it off with a hemp rope.

Newhall, CA (PRWEB) April 24, 2012

face 4 humanity, an eco-conscious skincare line, enhances its commitment to the environment by using FiberStone® tree-free, water-free, low-carbon-footprint packaging products.

As a high-end, eco-conscious personal care products company, face 4 humanity recently completed its new packaging with FiberStone tree-free gift bags, complete with hemp handles. “We love the whole idea behind FiberStone, as it puts us one step closer to our goals,” says Kathleen Crawford, cofounder of face 4 humanity. “The FiberStone products are not only functional but they are beautiful as well.”

“We are striving at all times to be the best we can be with regards to eco-sustainability,” cofounder Desne Holland explains. “Who would have ever thought of paper made from stone! Our clients are fascinated. Once they get to feel the quality, they are very impressed.”

The gift bags, 5-3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide when standing up, were offset printed in four colors with soy inks. A luxurious matte finish and a special request hemp cord complete the all-natural presentation.

FiberStone®, a registered trademark of Natural Source Partners, Inc., is a line of tree-free, water-free, low carbon footprint papers that come from an abundant renewable, sustainable resource—natural limestone, or common rocks. Natural Source Printing has been producing labels, POP displays, bags, brochures, catalogs, annual reports and high quality pressure sensitive labels on the stone paper material for over five years.

Crawford continues: “The smoothness and quality, the look and feel help communicate the ‘high-end’ nature of our products. Printing all that we can on FiberStone paper allows us to really walk our walk and be truly eco-friendly.”

Linda Wooley-Radke, President of Natural Source Printing, states: “Our vision is to help companies achieve their environmental and sustainability goals. As companies embrace greater responsibilities for environmental concerns, they are seeking resources to help them along that path. The durability and soft feel of FiberStone add to its appeal. To the touch, it feels like a luxurious coated paper. And because it doesn’t require water to manufacture, it saves more than just trees.”

face 4 humanity has an eco-consciousness commitment from top to bottom, from its eco-certified glass manufacturer to the biodegradable tape used to seal its shipping boxes. The labels on the skincare bottles themselves are also FiberStone paper. “Having the smallest carbon footprint possible is very important to us, and FiberStone helps our cause,” Crawford concludes. “Knowing that we are not cutting down our precious trees for a label or a bag is a great feeling.”

McNett Collecting Outdoor Gear to Get Kids Outside and Help Underserved Families Get Outfitted for the Outdoors

McNett Collecting Outdoor Gear to Get Kids Outside and Help Underserved Families Get Outfitted for the Outdoors

Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) April 17, 2012

McNett®, the leader in quality, innovative outdoor products, is collecting outdoor gear in an effort to get kids outside. McNett has re-launched its “Take a Kid Outside” program with the help of local non-profit, the North Cascades Institute (NCI), and needs new, discontinued or gently used outdoor equipment to help kids get outfitted for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, backpacking and fishing.

“We know that having the right gear for outdoor adventures is not feasible for all kids,” said Travis Huisman, chief operating officer at McNett. “This program of loaned gear coupled with NCI’s efforts at introducing kids to wild places will impact thousands of kids’ lives. We’re thrilled to be a part of that.”

To help kick-off their partnership, McNett and NCI will be selling raffle tickets at the Andrew Skurka Circling Alaska & Yukon presentation being held in Bellingham on Tuesday, April 17 at the Mt. Baker Theatre’s Walton Theatre at 7 p.m. as well as the Ultimate Hiking Gear & Skills Clinic, which takes place Thursday, April 19 at the Mt. Baker Theatre’s Encore Room at 7 p.m. The winner gets a Mountain Hardware Viperine tent and 100% of the proceeds will be used to buy equipment for the “gear locker.”

“We are thrilled to be a part of ‘Take a Kid Outside’ with McNett,” said Institute acting executive director Jeff Giesen. “North Cascades Institute takes kids from a wide variety of backgrounds outside in a wide variety of weather, and the gift of outdoor gear will help us a lot in our efforts. It’s more important than ever before to nurture the bonds between young people and the natural world. Having the right equipment is essential!”

McNett is re-launching the “Take a Kid Outside” program as a regional initiative with the help of NCI. As the two organizations begin building a gear locker the program will be expanded nation-wide.

“We have lofty goals, but as the saying goes, ‘even the biggest journey begins with a single step,’” said David Wiggs, vice president of marketing at McNett. “We’re starting locally, with an intention to expand nationally and we need help from consumers, brands and retailers to start this journey.”

If you would like to donate outdoor gear or for more information, please contact McNett via http://www.mcnett-outdoor.com/Contact-Us/127.aspx.

Singapore the Summit for Asian Expats, Professionals: Rikvin

Singapore the Summit for Asian Expats, Professionals: Rikvin

Singapore Company Registration Specialists

Singapore (PRWEB) April 19, 2012

Singapore has blown its long-time rival out of the water, just days before Earth Day 2012 and emerged as the the most liveable city in Asia and the world for Asian expatriates in ECA International’s Location Ratings recently-released survey.

In a survey that has only one other Asian city and 5 Australian cities dominating the top-ten global positions, Singapore company registration specialist, Rikvin, recognizes the Republic’s number one ranking as a testament to the breadth of its offerings to talented Asian professionals.

According to ECA International, the Location Ratings survey which is conducted annually, assesses 400 locations worldwide based on factors such as 1) climate and air quality; 2) availability of health services, housing and utilities; 3) access to a social network and leisure facilities; 4) infrastructure as well as 5) personal safety and political tensions.

Singapore scored the top position in ECA’s global list yet again this year due to its consistently good air quality, world-class healthcare facilities, sophisticated infrastructure, low crime rate and reduced health risks. Furthermore, its strategic location in the heart of Southeast Asia makes it accessible geographically and culturally to many Asian professionals from the region.

Commenting on Singapore’s position at the top of the Location Ratings survey, Mr. Satish Bakhda, General Manager and Head of Rikvin’s Operations, said, “The survey reaffirms that Singapore is the best place for Asia’s most talented and ambitious professionals to enjoy the best of business and leisure in one location.”

“Not only will talented Asian professionals have a chance to grow their careers in Singapore; they will also get to enjoy the best of creature comforts offered in Singapore. We are optimistic that ECA’s ranking will inspire more white- and gold-collar Asian professionals to apply for the Singapore Employment Pass this year,” added Mr. Bakhda.

The only other Asian city to make the global top 10 list is not Singapore’s long-time regional rival Hong Kong, but Kobe. Hong Kong came in third in Asia after Kobe and 11th globally.

Explaining further, Mr. Bakhda said, “Hong Kong has many attractive features which makes it a great business location. For example, it offers tax rates that are comparative to Singapore personal tax and Singapore corporate tax. Many entrepreneurs who think of incorporating a company in Hong Kong also weigh the options of Singapore company setup.”

“However, as discussed in a previous Rikvin announcement, good air quality is not one of them. This in turn lowers Hong Kong’s attractiveness as an ideal business location, especially for professionals who wish to relocate for the long term and with their families.”

“Having said that, we are optimistic that the conglomeration of high-calibre professionals will in turn will motivate more key decision makers and businesses to form a Singapore company,” affirmed Mr. Bakhda.

ABOUT RIKVIN:

For fourteen years, Rikvin has partnered with foreign investors, entrepreneurs and professionals in their pursuit to access the limitless opportunities Singapore has to offer. Rikvin’s areas of expertise include Singapore company incorporation, offshore company setup, accounting, taxation and other related corporate services. Rikvin also provides Singapore work visa and immigration services for foreign professionals wishing to relocate to Singapore.

UV Spotlight on Northants County Cricket Team as sk:n clinics Checks the Cricketers for Skin Problems

UV Spotlight on Northants County Cricket Team as sk:n clinics Checks the Cricketers for Skin Problems

skn clinics

(PRWEB UK) 14 April 2012

Jack Brooks, a Northants player, just returned from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka playing for the England Lions, was the first to have his skin checked out – with a thorough face examination from sk:n therapist Sarah Hawkins.

Under UV light in a specialist machine, sun damage and irregular pigmentation was highlighted and then a dermatology expert then checked the players for any suspect moles or uneven pigmentation. It was well worth the time as Jack explains: “It was great to have the scan and it’s reassuring that we’re not doing too badly in protecting our skin. The team is quite strict about always applying sun screen, and those with more sensitive complexions apply the zinc cream too for added protection. Skin damage and skin cancer aren’t foremost in our minds when training or out on the field, so these scanning days are really good for focusing our attention back on skin health.”

Sarah Hawkins gives the roundup: “The scans showed up a little damage on the cheekbones, nose and forehead but this was to be expected because they’re the more bony parts of the face which is where light reflects the most. I saw a bit of localised pigmentation and age spots, and the older players showed more uneven skin tone, but none of the players have anything to worry about. They use sunscreen and I just encouraged them to apply it all year round and 30 minutes before playing outdoors.”

Dr Robert Burd, the sk:n dermatologist likewise praised the cricketers: “Reassuringly the team are aware of sun exposure and are taking active measures to prevent UV damage in the future and they’re a great example of how to look after themselves. They were really clued up.” He advises: “For those wanting to enjoy the sun, just remember a few key things. Wear protective clothing and hats, seek shade in the middle of the day and wear broad spectrum high factor sunscreen of SPF 30 or above.”

Group Medical Doctor of sk:n clinics, Askari Townshend comments, “Skin cancer is a serious issue and one that we are keen to raise awareness of, not only for the Northants team but for everyone involved in outdoor sports –players, umpires, local teams and supporters. Unless people get serious about their skin health and have these assessments, then the tell tale signs of sun damage can be missed. And it’s not just sports players who need to watch out. Everyone is at risk of sun damage – from holiday makers returning from their summer break to those who work or play outdoors.”

Jason Ratcliffe, Assistant Chief Executive of the Professional Cricketers Association explains: “We’re committed to ensuring that all UK County Cricket players receive these skin checks, a service which we also offer to former county players too, as a way to look after them and the health of their skin even in retirement. We are very pleased to be able to conduct these important scanning events each year and sk:n is a perfect partner with great expertise and technology.”

Skin cancer is a growing problem in the UK. Over 100,000 new cases are diagnosed each year, with 10,000 being melanoma, the deadliest form of the disease1. Most skin cancers are caused by long term exposure to the sun2 so those who spend much of their life outdoors are at greater risk of exposure to UV radiation. The good news however, is that in as many as four out of five cases, skin cancer is a preventable disease – these simple skin assessments can identify potential threats and allow early treatment.

sk:n is keen to encourage anyone who has spent long periods outdoors or on holiday exposed to the harmful rays of the sun, to visit their local sk:n clinic and book in for a free skin assessment or a mole check to help put their mind at rest about their skin health.

The scanning assessment consists of an in-depth chat with one of sk:n’s experts to ascertain skin type and skin care habits as well as a thorough assessment under a UV lamp to show existing sun damage and identify any other problem areas or changes to the skin. During the consultation, sk:n’s experts will offer advice on treatments and products available to help improve the skin’s condition and protect it from future damage. Those clients who show more concerning signs of sun damage or abnormalities are immediately referred to their local GP for further investigation.
